ACT Peer Supervision Group
If you're a Therapist, Coach, Counsellor or Health Professional who would like to incorporate Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) tools into your working practice, then these events are for you. ACT tools, metaphors, techniques and exercises are useful both with clients and also as part of our own life skills toolbox.
We meet online via Zoom twice a month on a Wednesday:
- first Wednesday 09:00-10:30 (UK time)
- third Wednesday 17:00-18:30 (UK time).
Annette created this group in 2021 to create a safe and accepting practice space for Practitioners who have at least a basic understanding of the core processes of ACT and who want to connect with other professionals to further their understanding of ACT and practice using it.
The group continues to grow and now has more than 300 members from all over the world with a range of different backgrounds (including Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Therapists, Peer Workers and Life Coaches).
During meetings we support and learn from each other as we practice in 'real play' triads (with roles of Client, Practitioner and Observer), enabling us to practice using the tools, language and concepts of ACT.
This group enables us to learn and grow our understanding of ACT alongside each other in a safe, accepting and supportive environment.
